Muhammad Mahdy Yandra, S.Si.D.

Muhammad Mahdy Yandra, S.Si.D., is a teaching assistant and early-career researcher in the Data Science Technology Programme at Universitas Airlangga. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Data Science at Airlangga University’s Data Science Technology Programme in 3.5 years, graduating with honours. His research interests include time series forecasting, spatial analysis and applying deep learning to model environmental and socio-economic phenomena. This is reflected in his contributions as a co-author to several Scopus-indexed publications on topics ranging from domestic tourism forecasting to modelling Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and upwelling dynamics in the South Java Sea. He is also a co-founder for the Innovative Research on Intelligent Systems (IRIS) community, a research forum for artificial intelligence and data science at Airlangga University.
