NANOTECHNOLOGY AND NANOMEDICINE

Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine research group focuses on the development and generation of nanobiosensor. We aim to provide the most advanced in nanobiosensor innovation to address some issues in the world, especially in Indonesia. We are interested in the development of sensor preparation, synthesis and analysis process based on nanotechnology using various methods. Nanobiosensors are expected to be a sensing solution tool with affordable cost, fast and reliable. Our research group utilizes different sources of nanomaterials, such as metal nanoparticles (Au, Ag, Cu, Fe, Pd or Pt), diamond material and nanocomposites (hydroxyapatite or biocomposites) to generate novel and advanced nanobiosensor that will be applied in medicine and the environment sectors.

  1. To develop a sensor preparation process based on nanotechnology using various methods. 
  2. To develop nanocomposites and nanoparticles as material sources for generating sensor. 
  3. To develop an analysis process during sensor materials assay.
  4. To develop (bio)nanosensors applications in medicine and environment sectors.

TRACK RECORD

The researchers have experiences in: 

  1. Generating sensor using boron-doped diamond nanoparticles modified material for antibiotic electrochemistry sensor (ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, ofloxacin).
  2. Generating electrochemistry sensor for sweetener using boron-doped diamond electrode. 
  3. In vitro and in vivo assay, such as antibacterial and anticancer assay.
  4. Analysis and characterization of nanomaterials using X-Ray Diffraction, SEM and TEM.
  5. Sensor nanomaterial from thin-film
  6. advanced analysis methods, such as synchrotron and nuclear scattering.
